The images on this DVD are an interactive photographic archive taken from the project Invisible Boundaries. Invisible Boundaries was exhibited at the Michael Tippet Centre, Bath Spa University 2002 and the Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton 2005. Invisible Boundaries started in 1999 as an attempt to create a social history archive using photographic texts. It now reflects a more personal history, a self-reflection of moments caught through the camera, both static and motion at the same time. The archive now consists of over a thousand images taken between 1999 and 2002. The two interactive elements are the 2001 contact sheets and the interactive archive. The contact sheets detail a year in the production of the archive, photographic shoots taken on the 10th day of each month between January 2001 and December 2001. The interactive archive is the total number of images presented as a one-hour slide show during both exhibitions. It is the significant number of images from which a selection of enlarged prints was made.
